What is GAAD?

GAAD (Global Accessibility Awareness Day) is on May 16th, marking its eighth year of spreading the word about accessibility.

GAAD strives to get everyone talking, thinking, and learning about digital accessibility and inclusion. Join in, learn more, and help make the world a little easier for everyone to navigate.

Our goal this year is for 1,000 people to become accessibility ambassadors in time for the big day!

So, what are you waiting for? Let's get #OhMyGAAD trending.

How the Challenge Works

  1. Sign up and share! Join our seven-day, email challenge to help spread awareness about GAAD. Use the hashtag #OhMyGAAD to join the conversation.
  2. Check your inbox! Starting May 8th, you'll get a daily email challenge delivered to your inbox with information, accessibility resources, and tips about digital accessibility.
  3. Take action and spread the word! To create 1,000 digital accessibility ambassadors in time for GAAD, we'll need your help. Share with your friends and challenge them to join in!
